How to pull a report on discounts and promo codes?

A detailed financial and informative report can be pulled for promo codes.

  1. Log in to the Billia Management Panel.
  2. Click on the Business section to the left and select Accounts.

The Accounting section can be used for generating multiple different reports. In order to generate information on promo codes:

  1. Click on Advanced filter.

  2. The options are then displayed as fields. The one needed for this article's purpose is "Discount code". Type the name of the discount there.

  3. Use any other fields that may be of need and complete them with the desired information to generate a report for a specific time frame on a promo code or a different type of a discount.

Note: Following this article's example other types of reports can be generated.

Fields' Definitions

Below is a list of what the fields from the Advanced filter mean and their purpose:

FieldDefinition
Invoice- Choose whether an invoice payment document should be displayed in the results of a search. Usually used, when an advanced search on orders is generated. The invoice specifies a successfully placed and paid order. Read more on document types here.
Proforma- Choose whether a proforma payment document should be displayed in the results of a search. Usually used, when an advanced search on orders is generated. The proforma specifies an order that is not yet paid. Read more on document types here.
Credit- Choose whether a credit payment document should be displayed in the results of a search. Usually used, when an advanced search on orders is generated. The credit specifies a withdrawal of funds from a user's Wallet. Read more on document types here.
Debit- Choose whether a debit payment document should be displayed in the results of a search. Usually used, when an advanced search on orders is generated. The debit specifies a charging of funds to a user's Wallet. of funds from a user's Wallet. Read more on document types here.
Status- Sort out products in your search by their Order Status. To see more information on Order Statuses, please click here.
Order Type- Sort out products in your search by their Order Type. To see more information on Order Types, please click here.
Search User- Search by a user name or email address.
Affiliate- Search by an affiliate email address or name. This is a user who is set as part of the Affiliate program.
Discount Code- Search by a discount code. This could be either а Single discount, a Promo code, or a Relation discount.
Paid- Search by whether a specific order has been paid or not.
Payment method- Search by a payment method. Includes all such which are already preset in the system.
Category- Search by product category.

Time frames

Generating a report can be done in specific time frames, as well.

Above the search fields to the right side are preset time periods: "day", "week", "month", "year", so that the report search pulls information for that amount of time. Additionally, the report can be generated for either a "purchase", or an "order". To see details on the difference between an oder and purchase, please click here.

To the left above the search fields there is a setting to set a more specific time frame for the report - from and to date.
